Edition of /15 - H.C. (Hor's Commerce)
In fine art printmaking, H.C. stands for "Hors Commerce" (French for "outside of commerce"), which refers to a select group of prints created outside the standard commercial edition. Originally, these exclusive prints were never meant to be sold, but were instead reserved as special gifts for the artist, publisher, or collaborators. Over time, many have found their way into the luxury art market, where they are highly prized by collectors for their extreme rarity.
