Description
Jose Vento (1972) "Del Color II" 2001
"Del color II" refers to a piece or the beginning of a thematic series of paintings by the prominent Spanish painter and sculptor José Vento Ruiz (1925–2005). Known for his evolutionary style, Vento moved from initial crowded compositions (characterized by a dense horror vacui) toward increasingly open spaces where the physical treatment of color and pictorial mass became the absolute protagonists.
