The visual universe of the celebrated Algerian artist Rachid Koraïchi is composed of a complex system of signs, figures, ideograms and calligraphy from diverse cultures and languages. Rather than seeking a literal translation of the texts, Koraïchi deconstructs writing to transform it into purely graphic and plastic elements. In this way, the viewer can contemplate and assimilate his work without the need for textual explanations.
