Description
Ángeles San José Moya (1961) "Haiku 6 Lineas" 2004
Ángeles San José Moya is a contemporary Spanish visual artist and printmaker born in Madrid in 1961.
The Poetry Connection: By naming it Haiku, she evokes the Japanese concept of Ma (negative space) and minimalist expression. Just as a haiku captures a massive emotion or landscape in a tiny, restricted poetic container, her visual piece strips away excess to find balance using just six primary visual markers.
