Description
Pin Zhuang in Chinese means "deconstruction" or "puzzle". According to Joan Fontcuberta, the idea of dismantling and remaking an object from its fragments brings us back to the chilhood experience of playing with meccanos and detachable small-scale models.

Thermoformed Container: A custom-molded rigid polystyrene box, 2.5 mm thick.
Artist's Book: Featuring covers made from aeronautical materials and an original text by Jorge Luis Marzo.
Prints: Eight chromogenic "type-C" photographic prints.
Sculpture ("Tiger Zhuang II"): A 1:32 scale model of an F-5E Tiger II fighter plane, composed of 21 pieces for the user to assemble.
Multimedia: A DVD produced by Videostudi, detailing the project's conceptual and technical background.
