"Borges y el Pato-Conejo" (2003) is a conceptual artwork by American artist [Joseph Kosuth]. The piece consists of a limited-edition screenprint/serigraph on paper. It bridges the literary labyrinth of Argentine writer Jorge Luis Borges with the famous "duck-rabbit" psychological illusion. Typical of Kosuth's text-based and language-driven philosophy, the work examines how reality is constructed not by what we see, but by how we interpret language and concepts.
The print was commissioned and produced in Madrid, Spain. It was published by Galeria Helga de Alvear, a prominent contemporary art gallery and publisher based in Madrid, which collaborated with Joseph Kosuth to release this limited-edition print series in 2003.
